The Okahandja Highlanders made history. Ten players were selected for the U20 National training group. All ten players represented the Okahandja Highlanders at the national U20 level. However, only one player got the call-up to join the U20 training side after trials were held.
We are proud to announce that one of the ten players that joined the camp, was selected to be part of the final National U20 team. He is Vian Swanepoel, Highlanders scrum half. The entire team, the community, and management congratulate him on this achievement.
He has done well. He will go far in his career. We are proud of him and what he has achieved and that he will be flying our flag at the National level is an achievement on its own. – Head Coach, Deon.
