Grassroots rugby is the stepping stone to the elite game of rugby. A dream for every player, the beginning of a journey to national and international success. A place where talent is nurtured, developed and where the love of rugby begins.
Grassroots rugby is the most important level of rugby to grow the game and inspire the new generation of players. We need to ensure it is properly funded, celebrate our unsung grassroots heroes and most importantly make everyone feel welcome and included.
Why Sponsor Our Academy?
By becoming the academy sponsor for Okahandja Highlanders Rugby Club, you put your company branding right in the heart of many parents, gaurdiants and the future of Namibian Rugby.
It’s only because of you that we’re able to grow grassroots. You make the conscious decision to choose a rugby ball that is not only top quality, but helps the game off the pitch. Your sponsorship will be invested into, junior training equipment, rugby balls for Juniors, transport for players, and most imporatantly the securing of the practice field.
TRAINING
As an amateur Rugby Club with no Stadium or grass field, the Club utilises the Municapla field in Okahandja. This field is being rented out to the Club at a cost per month. The Club has also acquired some training equipment but needs more functional training gear, equipment, and balls.

As you become a Club sponsor, you can choose in which area you like to contribute. With that said one of our most difficult resources is the facility and equipment. By sponsoring us with either funding for our practice facility, or by contributing to training equipment, your brand will be visible on some training equipment, water bottles, as well our training gear (subjected to sponsorship of training shirts).

By becoming a kit sponsor for Okahandja Highlanders Rugby Club, you put your company branding right in the heart of the matchday action. It is seen on our orange, white and blue players’ jerseys, which is visible to the fans in the stadium as well as those browsing our online platforms.
Branding is also included on Okahandja Highlander’s kits which are available to buy from our online store. Okahandja Highlanders is a proud rugby town Club from Okahandja, with a growing rugby community.

Okahandja Highlanders’ website is growing popular with the fanbase and Okahandja Highlanders’ social media accounts have over grown to 900+ followers in total.
